HBO's THE WIRE: ART DEEPER THAN LIFE

 



The form of art that goes across it's boundaries to address issues of society, education system, criminal justice system, political system and juvenile system and proposes experimental ways to improve them all by the art of screenplay is astoundingly marvelous! 

This is one of those shows which is an example for the world announcing the power of audio visual medium. It is a fantastic peace of art which is for the woke minded people.

The meditative space the show creates to portray the intimacies of societal architecture and hierarchy in an effortless manner. The feeling you get when you're invested in the show and begin to understand the complexities of the problems addressed in the show is unique and will never be found in any other show.

It explores the lives of people in the Baltimore political and criminal justice system. It also explores society that is affected by this system, namely the projects where major drug deals happen and the problems of the community of the area. It takes you down every lane to every household so you feel completely immersed in the city.



It makes you feel all types of emotions, the most important one being the desire to bring about change. Change for the better, in our lives and the lives of people around us. It is a great social lesson conveyed in the most entertaining way possible.
