BLADE RUNNER 2049 : A VISUALLY STUNNING SEQUEL

 

This was a sequel with high hopes. Releasing after 28 years of it's predecessor, The Blade Runner, which was an iconic and one of the first cyberpunk films to release. 

This sequel did the first title justice by building upon the world Ridley Scott created. It's stunningly beautiful visuals depicting the future of earth in the year 2049 is breathtaking. You get immersed in the cyberpunk world. It's mesmerizing and scary at the same time.

The atmospheres and environments created in the film show great use of gradients and colors to create an immersive world. The perfect use of CGI is seen.

With great characters and a very interesting storyline, you're hooked to the movie right from the first second. The fanbase of the blade runner is massive and they did them justice with creating the movie in a beautiful way. It also makes us think deep about our society as humans and what can we do to preserve it.

Technology in the wrong hands definitely holds the power to destroy the world. This anxiety of the future tech dependent world and the possibilities of misuse are explored in a very realistic way.

It is a great watch for everyone and an absolute eye-candy!
